1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. PURCHASE WILL NOT ENHANCE CHANCES OF WINNING. Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, who are 18 years of age or older (except residents of Alabama and Nebraska who must be 19 years of age or older) at the time of entry. Employees, officers and directors of Yardi Systems, Inc. (“Sponsor”), and its respective subsidiaries and affiliated companies, advertising, promotion, or production agencies (and each of their respective IRS dependents, immediate family members [children, spouse, parents, siblings, and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside] and individuals residing in the same household of each, whether or not related) are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited by law. By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes.
2. ENTRY PERIOD: Sweepstakes Promotional Period runs during the applicable conference. Entries must be received by the time the conference ends.
3. HOW TO ENTER. During the Promotional Period (i) visit Yardi’s virtual or physical booth at the applicable conference (no purchase necessary); and (ii) complete the webform to enter.
Limit one (1) entry per person during the Promotional Period. Any attempt by any person to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different accounts on a single platform or any other methods will void all of that person’s entries and that person will be ineligible. At its sole discretion, Sponsor reserves the right to reject submissions from competitors, or competitor’s employees in the property management software market. Any form of entry not stated in these Official Rules is void.
4. PRIZE DRAWING. The prize drawings will occur on-site at the conference, winner does not need to be present to win. Prize is non-transferable.
5. WINNER SELECTION: The winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries as set forth above. Odds of winning will depend upon the number of eligible entries received. The drawings will be performed by Sponsor whose decisions are final and binding in all matters related to this Sweepstakes. Winner will be notified by email, at which time a full shipping address and phone number will be required for fulfillment of the prize. Winner will have fifteen (15) days from notification to accept the prize by replying to the email. Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, or unsuccessful efforts to notify the winner. All taxes on prizes, including income taxes, and any incidental expenses associated with collection of a prize are the responsibility of the winners. Winners assume all liability for any damages caused or claimed to be caused by participation or by any prize and release Sponsor from any such liability. If a selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim a prize, or fails to timely return the completed and executed declaration and releases as required, prizes may be forfeited and an alternative winner selected. The prize will be sent no later than six (6) weeks after draw date. By accepting the prize, winner agrees to the use of the winner’s name, submission, voice or likeness, for the purpose of trade, advertising, or promotion without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
6. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Conduct of Sweepstakes and selection of winners are in Sponsor’s sole discretion, and Sponsor’s decisions are final and binding. Agents and representatives of Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion and fulfillment agencies, and legal advisors are not responsible for and shall not be liable for: (i) late, lost, delayed, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, unintelligible, or postage-due entries; (ii) any condition caused by events beyond the control of Sponsor that may cause the Sweepstakes to be disrupted or corrupted; (iii) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Sweepstakes; (iv) any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of the prize, or acceptance, possession, or use of the prize, or from participation in the Sweepstakes. By participating, each entrant agrees to release and hold Sponsor and the employees, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, representatives of Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, and legal advisors, harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind in connection with the Sweepstakes or resulting from entrant’s participation, acceptance, possession, or use of any prize, including without limitation, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy. Entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules and by the decisions of Sponsor, whose decisions are final. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. In the event this Sweepstakes is compromised in any way, electronically or otherwise, that is beyond the control of Sponsor, Sponsor reserves the right to suspend, cancel, modify, or withdraw the transmission of these Sweepstakes. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules or the rights and obligations of participant and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without giving effect to any choice of law rules or provisions (whether of the State of California or any other jurisdiction), that would cause the application of the laws of any other jurisdiction other than the State of California. All third-party trademarks appearing herein or elsewhere in connection with the Contest are the property of their respective owners. Participant hereby agrees not to use any Yardi or third-party trademark except as expressly permitted by the trademark’s owner.
7. Participant acknowledges that the promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, or Twitter. Participant fully and completely releases Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter from any liability in connection with this promotion.
